On 31st January 2015 Oracle Academy, who we have a partnership with, had an IT Students’ Career day/Hackathon that was held at State House Girls High School, Nairobi, Kenya. In attendance were over 1500 students from 19 high schools.
The students participated in both mathematics and computer science quizzes and performed incredibly well. They later had a mentorship session from our resourceful speakers of the day with the aim of introducing more students in the computer science pipeline.
