Last Round of Chipuka Exam Announced

We are happy to announce the final round of the pilot phase of the Chipuka exam, which is collaboration between The ICT Authority, Carnegie Mellon University and The World Bank.

We have delivered four exams in Kenya through the project period and many others through the rest of the world and are proud to announce that Kenya’s performance has been beyond expectations and we know it will continue to be so.

In collaboration with Strathmore University, this last round of the free of charge exam will be delivered on the 25th October 2013 from 9:30 am . Please follow:

Sitting this exam creates opportunities for good performers to potential employment opportunities at local companies like Craft Silicon, Seven Seas, Cellulant  and even internationally. Analysis of the pilot exams done shows that the performance of Kenyan developers has been better than that of the rest of the world (with the exception of Carnegie Mellon Computer Science Students).

@iLabAfrica to Offer Certified Ethical Hacker Course

@iLabAfrica-Strathmore University will be offering Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training courses for Students (in Strathmore University) and professionals (external), under the IT Security Centre in @iLabAfrica. Globally, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a highly sought certification.

The University will also be an examination center where anyone will be able to take the exam and attain the certification.

Students currently pursuing any course in the university will be able to enroll for the course at a highly subsidized fee following our Academia Partnership with the EC Council. Professionals will also be able to enroll at a professional rate.
